This is quite a beautiful, wonderful single Bb horn. This rare Alexander 5-valve is one of the sweetest sounding, most beautiful horns I've had. It has a double seamed hand hammered bell, and the 5 valves give it good dexterity and range that other single Bb horns may not be able to do as easily. The thumb valve can be set as a stopping valve or an "A" extension (I believe). Both slides are included. The pinky valve is an F extension, putting the horn into the key of F, which is nice for tuning on some notes and for lower pitches as well. This really is an unusual, beautiful specialty horn that will serve a professional player, collector, or enthusiast well!
This horn has great valves. They have good compression and the mechanical linkage is quiet (not perfectly quiet, there is a slight sound from them, but you don't notice it while playing). There are a few very minor dings on the horn, but nothing bad at all. This horn has been completely cleaned and serviced and is ready to play!
No case or mouthpiece is included. The horn needs a European shank mouthpiece to play its best.

This instrument may be returned up to one week after the horn is delivered. If the horn is returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs both to and from the buyer. If the instrument is damaged in the possession of the customer, all repairs will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
