This is a genuine Engelbert Schimd bell. It is spun with no garland, and is an Extra Wide (EW) throat. It sounds great - with a brilliant, large, beautiful Schmid sound. Schmid has a lot of helpful information about his bells on his website. The extra wide size of the bell gives the bell a bit of a darker sound, yet it is still brilliant and beautiful like you'd expect from a Schmid horn.
Here are things to know about this particular bell flare.
- There are minor dings and scratches (nothing bad at all) - this is a used bell.
- The ring set on this bell is specific to Schmid horns. It will not work with Alexander rings. If you have any questions about this, please contact me!
- This bell had lacquer damage from a Marcus Bonna bell case (apparently MB cases can damage Schmid lacquer if left in the case too long). Because of this, the owner of the bell (selling through me) requested I strip the lacquer, which I have done.

This bell may be returned up to one week after it is delivered. If the bell is returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs both to and from the buyer. If the bell is damaged in the possession of the customer, all repairs will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
