A video demonstration of this horn can be seen here.

UPDATE: I did just realize this horn has Finke-specific threads for the bell, not Alexander. In the old description I mentioned that it has Alexander threads, and I wanted to make sure that this is made right to any potential buyers who saw the former listing description.

This horn is a fantastic instrument! It has a beautiful, sweet, singing sound that plays easily in all registers. It's articulations are crisp and easy, its slurs are smooth, the tone is warm and clear, the softest dynamics are easily available and the most powerful louds are easily produced yet the sound stays consistently beautiful and does not break up. This is a fantastic horn!

One of the big perks of this horn is the fact that is has a stopping valve built in. This stopping valve is on the Bb horn only (not the F horn), and allows you to play stopped horn on the Bb horn without changing your fingerings or fighting the tuning. It is a fantastic addition and a great perk to anyone who plays stopped horn. It really does make it easier and also makes hand stopping sound much better!

The bell on this horn is rose brass. It has Finke-specific threads, though, so only Finke bells will go on this horn. The leadpipe is interchangeable with other Finke leadpipes. It currently has a G3 leadpipe on it. No other leadpipes are available with this horn, but they can be acquired from Finke or sometimes show up on the used market. I think this G3 leadpipe does work great on this horn, though, and the last time I sold a Finke Brendan with two leadpipes the G3 was my favorite.

This is a used horn, but it is in fantastic used condition. It is unlacquered (giving it a nice patina), the composite valves have excellent compression (and are completely silent and lightning fast), and all the slides work perfectly. The finger ring and duck foot are easily adjustable, making this horn fit most if not all hand sizes comfortably. There are one or two tiny dings in the horn, but they are hardly noticeable and are very small. It has been completely cleaned, serviced, and inspected in my shop and is ready to play!

No mouthpiece is included. The horn as it is set up does play a little better with European shank mouthpieces, but both work. Interestingly, the tip of the leadpipe can unscrew. I believe you could replace the tip with an American shank tip if you have one, but I'm not sure.

The serial number of this horn is 11202, which dates the horn to January of 2012, if what I hear about the Finke serial numbers is correct.

A used, but good condition Marcus Bonna case is included.
