This Alexander 107 is a very sweet horn. It has a beautiful, clear soloistic sound that carries beautifully, is cheerful in tone, and is very smooth in timbre. This is a fantastic professional Bb/F-alto descant horn that could serve any professional horn player well. I think this would make a great solo horn but would also make a great horn for a principal horn or someone who regularly plays high horn orchestrally. The unlacquered gold brass looks really great as well.
 
The valves on this horn have amazing compression. I'd say that they are near perfect. They are quick, quiet, and have been professionally aligned. The entire horn has been professionally cleaned and serviced in my shop and it is ready to play!
 
Being a used horn, there are a few minor dings and scratches, but there is nothing bad at all - only things that would be normal from use.
 
Included is the original case in good used condition. It has a few minor tears, but nothing bad at all. No mouthpiece is included.
 
This horn requires a European shank mouthpiece.
