This Holton H180 is certainly the 'ugly duckling' of horns. Despite it's looks, it does still play well, and would make a good horn for someone looking for an instrument that will play for them without a high price tag. The valves have good compression (though some up-and-down play) and work well. The slides all work as intended, and the horn is clean. It is ready to be played.

It has had a rough life externally. Most of the lacquer is gone, and there has been some poor buffing work done to it in the past. There are scratches, dents, and dings throughout the horn. None of these cosmetic issues affect how the horn plays.

No case or mouthpiece included with this horn.
