A video demonstration of this horn can be seen here.

For sale is a King Peltier horn. This is a really cool Schmidt wrap instrument, which means the F/Bb change valve is a piston valve. This horn was somewhat common in the early to mid 1900s, and some of this style of horn are still in professional use today. I believe the main reason this style of horn did not become popular is because the left hand grip, while manageable, is uncomfortable to hold.

This particular horn is in decent condition. It clearly has seen a lot of use, but the metal of the horn is still solid, and the horn still plays and looks good. The valves, being so old, have poor compression, but heavier oil in the valves makes it play just fine. It is a fun horn to have and to play.

I imagine this will make a good collector instrument. No case or mouthpiece is included.
