Based on the research I've done while owning this horn (I've had it well over a year at this point), I know this is quite an old horn. While I'm not sure of the year for sure, credible sources say it is either a 60s horn or possibly one from before WWII. Citing the string linkage, it likely from the 60s. But despite being so old (and showing some scars) this horn plays really nicely. It is a vintage gem of an instrument.
 
The valves still have good compression, and all of the slides work well. There are dents throughout the horn, but there are no patches or thin spots. This horn is in pretty remarkable playing shape for its age. Do look at the photos and/or watch the video though, since some of the dents are pretty serious looking. I do not believe any of the dents or dings are hurting how the horn plays, though. Seriously, this is a great playing horn.
 
The original thumb trigger on this horn made it impossible to play. I think the "throw" of the trigger was over an inch and a half. I had a friend of mine do an experimental build of a thumb trigger that I ended up liking and deciding to keep on the horn since it allowed it to be played much easier. The new trigger looks a bit ammateure, but works great. The horn is now playable! I do still have the original thumb trigger (in great condition) and will send it with the horn.
 
No case or mouthpiece is included with this horn. Of course it will be packed very carefully.
