This is one of Yamaha's new 'flagship' model horns - the YHR872ND. This is the exact same horn that I had the privilege of reviewing a in January of 2026. It is quite a wonderful horn! It has great playing characteristics. All the notes slot in well, the tone is clear and beautiful, and the slurs are clean. The horn is in essentially mint condition (there are a couple of tiny, nearly unnoticeable dings on it) and is ready to play! The hand grip is completely adjustable (the finger hook and thumb paddle are both fully adjustable) which is also a nice bonus for anyone looking at this horn. It can be adjusted to fit your hand comfortably.
The original case is included with this horn. It is a beautiful case with leather on the outside, and includes nice backpack straps too. I don't have the original mouthpiece, but there is an allen wrench for adjusting the finger hook and thumb paddle assembly.

This instrument may be returned up to one week after the horn is delivered. If the horn is returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs both to and from the buyer. If the instrument is damaged in the possession of the customer, all repairs will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
